Join us December 3 at 6:30 p.m. for the fourth annual Singing in the Season, hosted by FPC Music Ministries in the Wood Fellowship Hall. Singing in the Season is a performance and sing-along event featuring choirs, handbells, orchestra, fellowship and cookies.
Please note that the event starts one hour later this year.
Tickets are free, but are required. Tickets are available online now and on Sunday mornings in the Historical Lobby beginning November 19.
This is a casual event for all ages, although childcare is available with advance registration for children two and younger.
Decorate a tree. If your family or a group of friends would like to be a special part of Singing in the Season, you may volunteer to decorate one of the trees provided by the Music Ministry to make the Wood Fellowship Hall look festive. You may use ornaments that won’t fit on your tree, homemade ornaments, or decorate using ornaments that have been donated to Music Ministries. Trees will be available to decorate beginning at lunch time on Monday, November 27. Trees will remain on display through the Christmas season. To adopt a tree, contact Caryn Overbey.
Bake Cookies. We need cookies, homemade or store-bought, to share before and after the program. You can sign up to bake cookies when you reserve tickets online or when you pick up tickets on Sunday mornings. You may also contact Caryn Overbey and let her know you would like to supply two dozen (or more!) cookies for Singing in the Season.
