Habitat Build 2017

First Presbyterian Church, Habitat for Humanity and the Center City Church Partners team up again this fall to build two houses for families in Charlotte, and you’re invited to help.

Build dates are September 16-November 18; watch for details on the schedule in the September issue of FirstNEWS, available on the Now@FPC page on the website or around campus beginning August 27.

REMINDER: The online registration process allows the required STANDARD RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM to be read & electronically signed.

INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Click on this link
STEP 2: Enter group ID number 1686
STEP 3: Check the box next to the group name and click “SELECT”
STEP 4: On the Volunteer Group Shift Search page, click “SEARCH” and our team’s scheduled shift(s) will appear. Choose the desired shift(s) and click “SELECT”
STEP 5:NEW USER/VOLUNTEER: Click “New User” to be prompted to create a new account.

EXISTING USER/RETURNING VOLUNTEER: If you have not done so as of June 2016, you must activate your existing account in the new database. To do so, click “Forgot Your Password” to receive an email to create a new password. Your volunteer account email is your username, and you will be able to sign in with your newly created password. If you have already activated your account and have a new password, simply log-in.

POST-REGISTRATION DETAILS After completing the registration, the shift and details will appear on the volunteer’s account. An automated confirmation email with full shift details will be sent to each registrant. A reminder email will also be sent.
IMPORTANT NOTE HFHC has transitioned to a new volunteer database and registration system. Please do not hesitate to contact a Volunteer Services staff member if you have any questions, need assistance, or would like to provide feedback on the new system. We’d welcome it!
