First Presbyterian Church offers two opportunities for worship on Sunday mornings—a 9:00am service and an 11:00am service.. Both worship services are held in the Sanctuary with Senior Minister Dr. William P. Wood and associate ministers presiding and with full choir and organ. The order of worship follows a traditional format of Preparation, Adoration, Confession, Proclamation and Dedication. The 11:00 service is televised live on WSOC-TV. The broadcast is close-captioned.
