During the year, special services are presented for all Church members, for members of our television congregation and for visitors. The special services include:
- Holy Week and Easter
The week prior to Easter and the Easter Sunday Service - Monday Noon followed by lunch at 12:30 pm
- Tuesday Noon followed by lunch at 12:30 pm
- Wednesday Noon followed by lunch at 12:30 pm
- Maundy Thursday 7:30 pm
- Easter Day 9:00am, 11:00 am and 5:00pm
- Thanksgiving Day Service - 10:00 am
- Advent and Christmas
- Family Candlelight Service 5:00 pm
- Christmas Eve Handbell Concert 7:40 pm
- Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols 8:00 pm
- Christmas Eve Handbell Concert 10:30 pm
- Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols 11:00 pm

A booklet for the Holy Week Services and Advent and Christmas Services is mailed to every Church member as well as members of our television congregation. The booklet contains a list of the special activities at First Presbyterian Church during this time of the year and the orders of worship for the services during Holy Week and Advent and Christmas.

The wedding ceremony is not only a significant event for the bride and groom and their families, it is also a service of worship in which the church celebrates marriage as a gift of God. As such, it is the responsibility of the Session of the Church to ensure that wedding services are conducted in a manner appropriate to the worship of God.
Marriage is a part of God’s will for all humanity. Scripture teaches that the relationship between husband and wife takes precedent over all other relationships (Genesis 2:24). Marriage in the Presbyterian Church is seen as a sacred contract between a man and a woman that is rooted in God’s creative purpose for the world.
Due to the high demand for our facilities, weddings here are reserved for members of First Presbyterian Church only.
