  • Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols, Dec. 24, 11 pm
  • Handbells at 7:15 pm and 10:15 pm on Christmas Eve

If you would like additional information regarding these special services, please contact Kathleen Zeppernick at 704.927.0266.

Weddings

The wedding ceremony is not only a significant event for the bride and groom and their families, it is also a service of worship in which the church celebrates marriage as a gift of God. As such, it is the responsibility of the Session of the Church to ensure that wedding services are conducted in a manner appropriate to the worship of God.

Due to the high demand for our facilities, weddings here are reserved for First Presbyterian Church members of six months or longer only. Members who would like more information about wedding services may contact Kathleen Zeppernick at 704.927.0266 or kzeppernick@firstpres-charlotte.org.  To inquire about becoming a member of First Presbyterian Church, please contact our Membership Development Coordinator, Sarah Price, at 704.927.0241 or sprice@firstpres-charlotte.org.

Funerals

Funerals and Memorial Services are important services of worship for the community of faith.  In 2010, the Session of First Presbyterian Church adopted a Funeral Policy to provide guidance for members and their families as they navigate this challenging time.  If you would like a copy of these guidelines, please contact Judy Ploch at jploch@firstpres-charlotte.org or at 704.927.0234.
