And they said, “Lord, when did we see you hungry, thirsty, or sick or a stranger, or in prison or naked and cared for you?”
And the King replied, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
An integral blessing of being part of the body of Christ is trusting that you have a community of faith to support you with prayer, visits, calls, meals, transportation and other services when you are going through a difficult time. Although we are a large congregation, it is the fervent hope of the ministers and members that we never lose our ability to respond to each other in a personal and caring way.
It is often through simple acts of kindness that we experience the love and grace of God. These programs support our members in all phases of their lives during times of illness, grief, joy or difficult times no matter what they are.
