Weekday School - Registration & Enrollment Procedures

Registration

Registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held in January. Registration packets will be mailed to all church members and new families requesting information on January 3, 2012.  Currently enrolled families will receive their registration packet at school. Tours will begin on January 4, 2012.

Priority for enrollment is given to First Presbyterian Church families and currently enrolled families. There are always remaining spaces available for new families from the general public.

Registration forms are due on Friday, February 10, 2012. Forms may be returned to the Weekday School by mail, or they may be dropped off in person.

If there are more applicants than spaces available at any age level, a lottery is held. Postmark dates do not determine an applicant's status. Applicants for whom there is no space available may remain on the waiting list at no charge and your registration fee will be returned to you.

Class Offerings

• TODDLERS:  Must be one year old by March 1. A child may be enrolled for two days a week:  M/W or T/TH.  If your toddler will turn one in March, April, or May, you should apply as there may likely be space available.  The status of enrollment for these children will be determined after spaces have been filled by children who meet the eligible cut-off date.  Toddlers must be walking before attending.
• TWOS:  Must be two years old by August 31. A child may be enrolled for two days a week: M/W or T/TH or three days a week: M/W/F or T/Th/F. 
• THREES:  Must be three years old by August 31. A child may be enrolled for three days a week: M/W/F or four days a week: M/T/W/F.
• FOURS:  Must be four years old by August 31. A child is enrolled for five days a week. 
• FIVES/TK:  Must be five years old by August 31. A child is enrolled for five days a week. Priority is given to children who will have completed a year in a four-year-old class.

4. Grandchildren of First Presbyterian Church members

Weekday School Fees 2012-2013

Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee is charged for each child and is due at the time of registration.  If a space is not available for your child during the registration period, the registration fee will be returned and your child will be placed on the wait list at no charge.

Activity Fee
This fee covers the cost of field trips and enrichment activities for the entire school year.  It is payable at the beginning of the school year in September.

2012-2013 Monthly Tuition 

An advance tuition payment is required to reserve your child's space and will be applied to the last two months of the next school year (April 2013 and May 2013). This advance payment may be paid in full April 1, or made in two payments on April 1 and May 1.

Tuition for the remaining months is due by the 10th of the month from September through March. There will be a $25 late fee charged for all payments not received by the 10th of the month.
