Bible study is a unique and powerful way to engage scripture on a regular basis in a group setting. Please consider one of the following offerings. If you have a desire for another study, please contact Kirk Hall, Associate Minister for Christian Education at khall@firstpres-charlotte.org
TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY: This weekly study meets on Tuesdays from 11:45-1:00 in the Pattie Cole Room (S-203) and is led by The Reverend Roland Perdue. From February 7th through May 8th the group will be studying the book of Exodus recognizing it as the story of the human journey in covenant with a gracious God. Using Jonathan Sack's book, Exodus: the Book of Redemption, scripture and supplemental essays and sermons, we will examine current issues and concerns in the biblical context and discuss them from the vantage point of a dialogue between faith and culture. Men and women are invited to study Sacks' insightful and inspirational scholarship on this ancient tradition and wisdom in tension with the contemporary issues that face us all.
