Growing In Faith Through Education

Throughout the Presbyterian tradition, there has always been an emphasis on education. Learning provides us with the tools to engage, to challenge and to grow. The more that we can learn about scripture, our tradition and the world around us, the more faithfully we can discern our own calling as witnesses to Jesus Christ.

First Church provides educational opportunities to faithfully engage not only the historical and biblical traditions of our faith but also the contemporary issues through a faithful lens. Through classes on Sunday mornings, educational programs on Wednesday nights and small group learning throughout the week, First Church expresses its passion for education and its excitement about the opportunities to learn and grow as individual believers and as a community of faith.
