 First Presbyterian Church’s Senior Adult Ministry is comprised of church members age 55 and over interested in social, supportive, educational, travel and intergenerational opportunities. The mission statement for the group is: “To create, implement, and supervise an intentional Christian ministry with older adults in the congregation and community.”
Current and proposed activities include a Christmas social, classes and speakers, intergenerational events, out of town and local trips and supportive services and referrals which will allow a person to remain independent as long as possible. The Senior Ministry also works to identify needed resources and programs within the church and church family.
